About The Coffee
Finca Idealista has become famous for its meticulous sorting of naturals to absolute perfection—resulting in some of the cleanest naturals in the specialty coffee industry.
The Pacas and Caturra varietals grow adjacent to the farm’s private rainforest preserve. The cool air from the nearby rainforest slows the coffee maturation process. The cherries take longer to ripen and have more time to develop natural sugars—the result is more sweetness and complexity at cupping tables.
About Finca Idealista
Finca Idealista, sits next to a nature reserve, whose trees are a natural air conditioner for our pacas, caturra, bourbon, pache, and a few pacamara beans (we're also planting new varieties).
Their cool microclimate lengthens the coffee cherry maturity process, allowing beans time to absorb natural sugars and attributes for a sweet, complex cup.
