About The Coffee
The Gondo factory is under the management of the New Kiriti Farmers Cooperative Society (F.C.S.), which comprises 560 members. This cooperative society is governed by an executive committee consisting of seven elected members, along with three members on the supervisory committee. The supervisory committee provides oversight to the management committee and presents reports during the annual meeting, which involves the farmers. In terms of personnel, the society employs a dedicated team of 19 permanent staff members, supplemented by approximately 25 seasonal workers.
This coffee shines with its sweet plum flavor, heavier mouthfeel, and cola-like characteristics. This coffee is very limited in quantity so take advantage of this unique microlot while it is still available.
SL-28 / SL-34
This coffees is from the famous SL-28 and SL-34 varietals which tend to have unmatched sweetness with a dynamic flavor profile. SL-28 is among the most well-known and well-regarded varieties of Africa. It has consequently spread from Kenya, where it was originally selected in the 1930s, to other parts of Africa and now to Latin America.
