ALWAYS FRESHThe coffee you’re enjoying right now, was only recently harvested from our favorite coffee farms.

A complex Kenyan microlot  that tastes of sugary plum, chocolate, and a hint of lemon with a sweet finish. The Coffee Bros. Kenya Mutira is named after the smallholder farmer cooperative which this coffee derives from, “Mutira Farmers Cooperative Society”. The Karii factory operated by the Mutira Farmer Cooperative Society has roughly 4,000 members in the region. The Karii factory was built in 1984, located about 70 miles from Nairobi and a mile and a half from Kerugoya town.

This coffees is from the famous SL-28 and SL-34 varietals which tend to have unmatched sweetness with a dynamic flavor profile. SL-28 is among the most well-known and well-regarded varieties of Africa. It has consequently spread from Kenya, where it was originally selected in the 1930s, to other parts of Africa and now to Latin America.

This coffee shines with its sweet plum flavor, heavier mouthfeel, and cola-like characteristics. This coffee is very limited in quantity so take advantage of this unique microlot while it is still available.
